Default PC World: Intel, AMD Stumble toward Your Living Room

http://www.pcworld.com/news/article/0,aid,125014,00.asp

"Leaders at Intel and Advanced Micro Devices are racing to deliver platforms by mid-2006 that allow consumers to share digital media among disparate devices throughout the house. Both see a large untapped market in converging the electronic devices that clutter our living rooms. Both companies also stumbled as they presented initiatives this week for hardware/software packages that will help to merge data from television, the Internet, digital music, and photos."

An amusing article touching briefly on Intel and AMD's new forays into your living room, and their inability to demonstrate them. Just goes to show you don't have to be a genius to be VP  . All kidding aside, I really think Intel and AMD ought to stick to making processors and leave the hardware/software packages to others more in the know. What do you think?
