Default Has Microsoft Lost It's Way

When I look at Windows Mobile and how Microsoft is heading, I think Microsoft has lost its way. I think it has become so big and fat that it can't maneuver the same as the competition anymore. To me, Microsoft is a barge in a swiftboat world of technology.

Steve Ballmer is certainly to blame for it, as is Bill Gates. I agree that their reluctance to comply with court decisions and the willingness to ignore patent laws (as evidenced by the recent court decision in Texas, has alienated many users who are now happy to find a competitive alternative.

Microsoft's dominance in OS is threatened by Google and their mobile position is threatened by Android. They seem to be willing to "milk the money cow" until it goes dry without breeding any more prize cows. Or, being too top heavy to make quick changes in a fast changing world.

Sorry Fritzly, I used this chart:
http://moneycentral.msn.com/investor...px?Symbol=msft I would assume that as a stock holder you have more reliable info.

I am afraid that issue is how to read a chart more than reliable information:

it took MS an entire year to recover from where it bottomed in January 2009.

Furthermore, and again exactly as I stated, this is the chart of the stock during Ballmer reign:

Microsoft Corp (MSFT) - Stock chart, Index chart - MSN Money

As I previously said I do not imply that he caused it but simply that, at least, he was not able to put the company back on what it was.

The funny thing is that this is the kind of conversation that takes place among the WM FANboys/girls.

If this is the way your FANS talk, you have a big problem.
