Whether its video conferencing at work or chatting with a few friends, Microsoft has a new present for you; introducing the Microsoft LifeCam Cinema!  Yeah, now you can let the whole world see you in 720p at 30 frames a second.  While I can appreciate that webcams are getting better all the time, and HD is one of those hot buzz words, I have to question the value of a webcam that is capable of streaming HD at a decent framerate.  I would think an HD camcorder like the Flip MinoHD would be a better option since you do not need to cart around a computer with it.  Anyone want to share what the pores on their face look like with everyone?

I think HD video conferencing is going to be awesome, assuming that there's the bandwidth to support it, and people on both ends have the CPU/GPU horsepower to decode it...
