Default MSN Music customers lose *all* their music the next time they buy a new PC

This was reported on BoingBoing

MSN Entertainment and Video Services general manager Rob Bennett sent out an e-mail ... "As of August 31, 2008, we will no longer be able to support the retrieval of license keys for the songs you purchased from MSN Music"

This isn't the first time Microsoft has lost interest in media they controlled with their DRM servers and with ZUNE it won't be the last.

Yeah, it fully sucks - and reminds me why DRM is so awful. Expect to see this on the front page, someone is already working on it...
