That's assuming the car pack is worth anything. I'm not impressed with mine beyond the asthetics. Nicely designed actually, but would be better if there was any metal on my dash. The control head has a magnetic back. It also sticks nicely to the accessory outlet plug. That would be nice if my accessory outlet was up in eye view..is yours?
Now for the FM transmitter part, it is like most others, very dependent on the vehicle radio setup. I have three vehicle to test and it is acceptable in one..not great..acceptable. It has a nice scanning function to locate an unused channel. I find it works better to find a blank channel on the radio and set the unit to that.
I've had much better luck with Belkin TuneCast II. It interfaces via the headphone jack, so you don't get the control options, track, pause, and such you do with the Zune one, but the FM quality is better.
What someone needs to do is build a lttle Ipod controller to zune connector interface box, then we could take advantage of the ubiquitous ipod control/audio capabilities floating around.
