WM6 issues on AT&T Q9h - no notes??

Hey all
New to WM6 and am wondering why the NOTES function is absent for some reason on AT&T Q9h model. My last WM6 phone was an HTC S710 and NOTES was included with that version. Is this common on varying WM6 phones? Is there a way to add this function after the fact? My main issue is that I'm transferring Palm Desktop info into my Q (via Outlook) and I have no easy way to 'port my MEMOS...because there is no NOTES function.

Any help would be much appreciated...even good natured flaming!!
