Synching With Outlook with a G-mail account

I have outlook setup to use my gmail account. I can synch to my phone and download the emails from outlook, but I cannot send the emails from my phone, nor receive them. When I go to the account, and scroll down to send receive on the phone, it is grayed out. So, what am I missing here? I thought when I synched up to the computer it would pull all those settings in.

No you have to set up the gmail account manually on your phone.

You have to do that with all email accounts and it irritates the heck out of me. It should be a built in feature to just transfer accounts over if you want! :twisted:
