Default Review: Covertec Case...

Ok, I bought this thing. Why because I didn't like the corner exposure in the OEM case.

Here's what I think of it.
Case fits all of these...SMT 5600, SPV C500, iMate SP3/SP3i, & Qtek 8010

Leather phone case from Covertec distributed through MobilePlanet.

Colours
  • Red
    Black
    Tan

Stitching
  • Casual/white

Pros
  • Great looking attractive for both females and males.
    Nice lining
Great access to power IR and Power and Headset
    Can sync/charge in case

Cons
  • Magnetic closure seems weak when phone is inside
No included removable wrist strap option
Stationary belt clip/No revolving or sliding belt clip

Overall great case better than the OEM case. I purchased the black one. It looks nice in business and business casual situations. The case is relatively compact and allows unobstructed access to power, IR, sync/charge and headset.

That's a nice looking case. Do you find it's as tight a fit as the free case? or is it a little looser?

It is a little looser. There isn't any elastic so it slips in and slips out, quite nicely. I will say that handling the case when the phone isn't on key lock will cause some action; as it were.

It seems that my replacement handset has more sensitive keys than my first.
