Default PN-820 and voicemail notifications

Hi all,

I have a PPC Samsung i730 and I am pretty happy there is a phone such as the PN-820 since I do not use the i730 for emails. The smaller PN-820 will be just what I need.

Okay so one of the things I hate on the i730 is that I never seem to know when and how many voicemails I have. The voicemail indicator does not stay persistent. This is very frustrating.

Will the PN-820 be better with this? If not, are there SW add-ons that could help me with this.

Lastly, could someone comment on battery life?

Thanks,
Pete R.

The voice mail indicator on your Pantech will be better since you can display a count on the home screen using the messaging plug-in.

However, for repeating notifications and on screen counts, I recommend phoneAlarm (which can also be used on your i730).
