All I can say is I curse Jason and his Thoughts Media Empire. Between this, PPCT and SPT I've got no time to do any real work during the day

I have to say that I hope the pace of postings to Digital Media Thoughts slows down somewhat. If I miss a day I'm two pages behind!

Actually, we're working on getting all the emoticons of all three sites in sync, based on PPCT as the master site.

Yeah, true. I hope to up the focus on digital video, because in many ways, I find it more fun than photography - at least the post-production part. ;-)

Hmm - that's a tough one! I don't think anyone on our editorial or review team shoots 35mm anymore...but I'll see what I can do.

I am finding that just trying to rip and organize my CD collection to be time-consuming and puzzling (I rip to 64 kbps wma to suit my PPC, but would like to have a higher quality format also - how to manage???)
That's some excellent feedback for us, and it underscores something I've felt about DMT since I started planning it with my team. I don't see us as writing camera reviews to rival those of dpreview.com, but what I do see us doing is leveraging the broad base of knowledge we have and creating exactly the kind of thing that you're asking about. Tutorials and editorials focused on bringing the world of digital media into focus in a practical, systematic way. I can't promise how quick we'll get to that, since we're still in "launch mode", but it's something I really want to make time for. :-)

Nope, it's not a browser setting, it's the graphics themselves. I kind of like them myself, but I suppose that's a personal thing. ;-)
