Does iTunes allow you to control the number of podcasts that you keep? Or do you keep them for archival purposes?

I'm currently using both itunes and Juice. Yes, itunes will "prune" the archives according to your settings.:

Keep
- All episodes
- All unplayed episode
- Most recent episode
- Last 2
- Last 3
- Last 4
- Last 5
- Last 10

It's nice not having to use any third party podcast software. I used to use juice long ago before itunes included them. The zune software does a good job for podcasts now, so I hope more websites include or rename their rss feeds to zune. Makes it quick and simple for new podcast users to start.

I had an issue (too long converting) with some of my favorite podcasts rss feeds straight from marketplace. They had large quicktime feeds in the listing instead of small wmv files. I don't want to wait to sync new podcast content to the zune, and the conversion progress is slow on my pc. But in the end, I got all the correct feeds without conversions.
