Default Great "Converting Video for Zune" Guide

http://www.zunester.com/zunevideo.htm

David Caulton of Zunester has written a screenshot-filled guide for converting videos to the Zune. In his guide, he teaches users how to setup and use ultra-easy TMPGEnc Xpress to convert all your videos to work on the Zune.

I personally read over the guide and I am now a proud user of TMPGEnc Xpress. It is really a very nice and easy product to use, and David has even provided a custom Zune settings "profile" to minimize the amount of work that you need to do. Good work David, and thanks for the amazing guide!

Default Amazing for another $100

The software costs $100 and the functionality should be in the Zune software.

Yeah, 100 bucks is a bit steep just to put video on something we payed around 250 for.

I haven't had a chance to check this out yet, but I will when I get home:

Hopefully this can be made to work for putting Video on the Zune...

Yes, I agree it would be nice to have in the Zune software - the ability to transfer DVR-MS files to the Zune, but this is a great solution, albeit not free. Note that the template referred to in the tutorial is at http://www.zune.com/zune.zip
