Bookmarking question

I read on the Microsoft Zune site that the new Zunes don't have a bookmarking feature per se, but that they remember the position in the track so that the next time you start that particular track, it will pick up where it left off. The description was with respect to Podcasts, which is where my main interest lies, as far as bookmarking is concerned.

Can anyone tell me how well this works, and if it will work with videos and regular audio music tracks as well?

Does it remember the positions indefinitely?

Is there no separate list of bookmarks? I have a Creative Zen Vision now, and I like seeing a list because it shows me which Podcasts I am currently listening to.

I am interested in getting a Zune 80, but I assume this works the same way on all of the new Zunes, correct?
