With the changing of years comes the inevitable "best of...", "most..." and "top 10..." and Wired doesn't disappoint. Their list of "The 10 Best Gadget Ads of 2007" features some odd choices, but also one I think most readers of this blog can agree on; Zune's "Academy of Dreams" earned the number 2 spot behind only the Bourne Ultimatum. Other contenders included Garmin's superhero flick "Garmin Man", Apple's clever-but-plagiarized "Hello", and Dell's Nu-Wave "Devo" ad.

Zune got a second mention, in the justification for Michael Bay blockbuster Transformers (#10). Says Wired: "We've got our fingers crossed for a transformed Zune/iPod brawl in the sequel."
