At one point I was re-installing my Dash weekly due to all the reboot loop / memory leak issues with the Dash WM6 upgrade. As a result I got pretty efficient at tweaking the registry.
I use
Registry Workshiop on the PC to browse my WM device registries. When I have something I want to change I copy the edit to a new file within RW and save that file. I archive the files on my phone's memory card. Then I use
Resco Explorer to import those registry files as needed.
The nice thing about this method is that RW lets you remove the extraneous keys and values you don't need to change. Makes sure you don't accidentally overwrite anything.
