Default best way to compile bunch of regedits?

as a longtime WinMo user who's been through his fair share of upgrades and hard resets, i've become pretty good at streamlining the process.

as i prepare for the hopeful/eventual release of WinMo6 for the Blackjack, my biggest hurdle is the bunch of RegEdits that i will need to do. this usually requires me to sit in front of a computer and lookup the collection of hacks i use and input them one by one into the device.

what's the best way to automate/speed this up? can i do some sort of import/export with RegEdit? i would like to save all the changes i make after the WM6 upgrade to a file to quickly reapply after a hardreset.

Well, you can bundle these up as an application in a CAB file and then install them. However, if you're not a programmer, then this might be a little hard.

Another solution, although not tested is to make them into a reg file and try launching that file from your smartphone. This is how you can get stuff into your registry on the computer. I'm not sure if it would work on the phone.

At one point I was re-installing my Dash weekly due to all the reboot loop / memory leak issues with the Dash WM6 upgrade. As a result I got pretty efficient at tweaking the registry.

I use Registry Workshiop on the PC to browse my WM device registries. When I have something I want to change I copy the edit to a new file within RW and save that file. I archive the files on my phone's memory card. Then I use Resco Explorer to import those registry files as needed.

The nice thing about this method is that RW lets you remove the extraneous keys and values you don't need to change. Makes sure you don't accidentally overwrite anything.
