Default My cheap car adapter and the Zune 80?

I have a cheap $10 cassette adapter that I hooked my new Zune 80 up to. Unfortunately I only get low sound out of one speaker.

Do I need to buy special adapter or should I just assume that my cheap one is no good.

Gee, I hope you got an answer by now but for others who are having similar problems, here's a thought.

Most auto cassette players will play both sides of the tape without having to eject the tape and turning it over. They do this by reversing the direction of the tape and switch the head to play the other two tracks on the tape. If you are only getting sound from one side and it is low power even after turning the volume up on your Zune, the problem may be the heads are in the wrong position to get the signal from your adapter.

Try pushing the reverse button on the player or turn the adapter over and try the other side.

Thanks for the reply stlbud. I purchased another brand and the sound was greatly improved.

But then the other day I could only get sound coming out of one speaker. My fiance plugged in her iphone and it sounded just fine.

Not sure what's going on. Perhaps its a fluke.
Maybe I need to reboot my Zune.
