Monster's StereoLink is an adapter cable allowing you to plug your Zune into your home stereo system, or other audio equipment. On one end, you have a standard 3.5mm headphone jack to plug into your Zune's headphone port. On the other end, you have standard stereo RCA-style plugs, labeled with red and blue bands. The cable uses 25k gold connecters, and is an ample seven feet in length. The StereoLink cable is very flexible with a high quality feel to it, and the plugs provide a snug, firm connection. I used the StereoLink cable to connect my Zune into my Sony home theater receiver. I typically keep my receiver at about a 40% volume level for most activities. With the Zune connected to the receiver, I had to crank my Zune's volume up to 100%, and increase to receiver's volume to about 75% to receive an acceptable volume level. Those don't look like a standard 3.5mm headphone jack on the end that goes into the Zune. My Zune provided headphones only split into three section on the male end, these split into four (much like the Zune A/V cables do.

Perhaps it can function as a Video / Mono inputs also??? That would clarify the wacky color scheme where most Audio cables stick to white and red.

A cable is set to do one thing when built for a purpose like this. Either sound or video, there is no switchability. Unless your zune is special.....I mean magical, where it can modify its internal parts and functions and morph into all sorts of other things....wait a minute did you buy the limited to one edition "Transformers" Zune. I am so jealous.

The quality or lack thereof of Monster cables have been long debated in hi-fi circles. It gets downright ugly between those who enjoy them and those who think their trash. But, the "monster" behavior as of late has me concerned as well. Thanks for the links, enjoythemusic.

Really feel bad about telling the truth of their actions, yet the public deserves to know what Monster Cable's legal department has been doing. As i see it, we all vote with our dollars as to what company and ideas/action we support. This has nothing to do with the quality, or lack thereof, of Monster Cable products. Am simply reporting the facts of what, as a company, Monster Cable has been doing over the years. Some people have chosen to nickname them Mobster Cable, and that is their choice just as it is your choice to either buy on not buy Monster Cable products.

As a reviewer myself, have chosen to never review a Monster Cable product and it is your choice to include within your review links to their legal actions. As a reporter, to ignore the facts would be akin to fraud by withholding what some may consider very important information.
