Apple files a lot of patents, and not all of those ideas show up in products, so I'm skeptical that this in actually in the pipeline. It would be interesting, though, to have an iMac that booted into iOS rapidly in low power when you needed it, and then into OS X when you needed more processing power. Are you listening Apple?</p>
