Ember let you chat, view transcripts, jump between rooms, share pictures in a Campfire chat. It was beautifully done. It caught our eye."

They liked it so much, they bought it. If you aren't familiar, Campfire is a group chat client that can be used to communicate with team members, clients, etc. And now as a bonus, they have decided to make the normally $9.99 USD app (formerly called Ember) free, renaming it appropriately enough 37Signals Campfire. You do need a Campfire account to use it, which requires a monthly plan ranging from $12.00 USD to $99.00 USD, but if this is something of interest to your group or company you can at least try it for 30 days free.
