Big Brother!" but it isn't as insidious as that. In order to use some of the location based apps, Apple shares your geographic location, thus they changed privacy policy to read:

"To provide location-based services on Apple products, Apple and our partners and licensees may collect, use, and share precise location data, including the real-time geographic location of your Apple computer or device. This location data is collected anonymously in a form that does not personally identify you and is used by Apple and our partners and licensees to provide and improve location-based products and services. For example, we may share geographic location with application providers when you opt in to their location services."

First off you have to opt in, and secondly, it's anonymous. Seems like much ado about nothing. Or have you read something else more sinister? What are your thoughts?

The way people tweet and Facebook about when and where they eat and burp, I would think this would be a welcomed feature.

Seriously though, it doesn't bother me.

Well, all I know is that the policy Apple asked me to read and agree to was 45 pages long. There's no WAY anybody should be expected to read, understand and agree to such a bunch of legal gobbledygook.
