Microsoft took its aging, stodgy Windows Mobile OS, reserved mainly for business users, and built something new from the ground up. The end result: an intuitive new platform that pushes the user-instead of apps-into the limelight."

Heck it's not even out yet, and some people are already piling on the laurels. I suppose that proves that there's a pretty high level of excitement and anticipation out there about WP7, and we'll see a terrific splash when WP7 hits the streets. And given some of the other items on the list, it's certainly not a bad showing. Let the hype keep building!

I am sorry but award something that it does not exist in its final form yet is just preposterous; furthermore is also very poor marketing.

So a product that hasn't been released yet is named one of the top products of the year that is only half over? Yeah, good one.
