The device was demoed at MIX, so this news is a couple of months old but it's still nice to see Samsung appears to remain committed to the Windows Phone platform, and we should see something from them in six months time. So what is the black tape covering? Samsung's name/logo? or is it holding the device together? :)

I noticed the same thing - I think it's to cover the Samsung logo, because it's rather prominent on the i8910.
