Honestly, I strongly prefer using either Spanning Sync or BusySync/BusyCal to sync with Google Calendar, Address Book syncing to gmail contacts, and never attaching my phone to my Mac at all.

I had nothing but bad luck with Missing Sync for WM in the past. I kept getting calendar sync issues, but they had no way to determine which of your calendar events was causing the error.

As always, though, it may work better for somebody else.
