WP7 Simulator Unlocked. New Features Discovered (including Voice Control)

The front page is now full of apps that work, the settings menu is a long list of options for those apps."</em></p><p>Australian tech site, techAU.tv, recently posted <a href="http://www.techau.tv/blog/10-minutes-with-windows-phone-7-simulator-unlocked-video/" target="_blank">two video simulations of WP7</a>. The first video (about 10 minutes) shows different apps in action, while the second video goes through many of the settings screens.</p><p>One item that stood out to me was a Speech setting. I was worried if VoiceCommand may not make in WP7 (at least at launch) and was pleasantly surprised when I saw a Speech Settings option under General Settings (near beginning of second video).</p><p>While Microsoft hasn't officially announced that voice control will be&nbsp;available&nbsp;in WP7 (they may obviously still be working on it), I now have hope that this feature will make it at launch.</p><p>Hit the Read link for the videos and let us know your thoughts. From what I understand, there is no cut/paste as we know it in WP 7S. That is the big, huge mistake by MS! That "intelegent" thingy that will pick a phone # from email or a text just doesn't cut it! I use HTC TP Pro 2, it has that HTC overlay on top of WM that doesn't really support cut/paste but also "picks" the number. Today, I've checked my email, and there's one from amazon.com with tracking number for my purchase. I clicked on it, in it took me straight to the phone app! from all those digits in USPS tracking number only 10 are lighted up as a link. Same thing with my other purchase from CompUSA. I've checked older emails, same thing! This is just one example of how incnvinient can it be without such "small" but yet very powerful feature!
MS! don't scew it up this time around! Even Apple understand importance of that feature now!
