I continue to use Evernote for clippings and receipts, things like that, but for most of my note taking I just use the iPhone Notes app that came with the iPhone. I find, for me, that it does everything I need it to do. I have tried various grocery list apps, note taking apps and to do apps (I do continue to use 2Do for this type of note taking to keep me on track), but for the most part, Notes on the iPhone does it for me. What do you use?</p>

Like you, I use Evernote for clippings and stuff I want to keep permanently. (Or at least for a long time). However, for "disposable" notes, I also use the built-in Notepad application.

I use evernote for everything. Since it syncs to the web...I can write notes on my phone, then retrieve the notes on my mac at home or pc at work.

I use Trunk Notes mostly as it is so incredibly flexible - it is essentially a personal wiki that you can use for notes and voice recording, then create links between notes plus loads of functions supported for including links to groups of notes or your recently edited notes. It also supports some GTD functionality.

I also use Notebook (by Appigo) as it has a very neat sync to Toodledo, but I find Trunk Notes far more flelible and customisable so Notebook is not used so much these days.

I have tried to get on with Evernote but find it frustrating not having the ability to use rich notes.
