But I imagine the Apple faithful will show their support in order to keep this show going. They moved it to February (this week in fact) so that it didn't conflict with CES, of which Apple was a part. What are your thoughts? Anyone out there attending?</p>

I would not have attended anyway. I'm sure that if they scale back expectations, maybe the show will continue, but I think that the big draw in the last 4 years has been the Apple keynote, and, without that, there will be less of a draw for journalists.

Also, as far as I know, Apple was not at CES this year.

It appears they do have the interest based on the crowd levels this year (http://www.tuaw.com/2010/02/11/the-opening-day-crowd-at-macworld-2010/), which is a good thing. I may have to go to one yet! ;)
