I notice at an Apple store last night that they had a TomTom cradle that specifically said iPod Touch...not iPhone. From memory couldn't see the difference, and they didn't have the iPhone one to compare. Checked TomTom this morning and discovered there are indeed two products.

It appears, for $20 less the iPod Touch adds handsfree dialing to your Touch :)
Actually it seems that is just unfortunate cut and past by the web/marketing guys. What the Touch version doesn't have is the handsfree, if you actually go to it's page and read its specs. No little microphone hole pointed out, and no BT in the specs. Got to have BT because there is no mic in at the dock connector, only audio out.

Really though, I wonder if the Touch cradle would work on the phone, you just wouldn't get handsfree...via the cradle. Suppose you could still use the BT you currently have and get the advantage of the well designed cradle, aux out, mini-usb charging, and better GPS receiver. All for $20 less.
