The two largest companies (Verizon and AT&amp;T) also charge the most. You can check out all the work BillShrink did on <a href="http://www.billshrink.com/blog/cell-phone-plans-comparison/" target="_blank">their site</a>, and it should be noted this is assuming you want unlimited texting. I also see that there is no accounting for rollover minutes.&nbsp;</p>

I'd think the "ultimate" comparison guide would also include non-unlimited family plan options, but this is a good and useful guide. I'm still beyond peeved that many of these carriers won't allow a good family plan with unlimited data and NO texts. I could care less about SMS and MMS. Also, if the carrier isn't Sprint, none have a true smartphone family data plan. I really hate paying $30 PER PHONE for this. Especially when I use way less than 1GB of data and my wife would likely use way less than 250MB.
