It does 10 megapixel stills, high speed burst capture and up to 1,000 FPS video."</em></p><p><img src="http://images.thoughtsmedia.com/resizer/thumbs/size/600/wpt/auto/1263044898.usr11334.jpg" style="border: #d2d2bb 1px solid;" /></p><p>Engadget have had a look at the new point and shoot from Casio called the Exilim EX-FH100.&nbsp; It has the ability to record video at 1000 FPS allowing to you capture some pretty good slow-mo video.&nbsp; This was on display at CES 2010 and they have recorded a video using it at the show that you can see on the Engadget site.&nbsp; It's actually a pretty nice bit of kit and one that many people who like to capture action shots would certainly like to have. It would interesting to see what the "slow motion" quality looks like when played back on a full-sized monitor, but the impression given in the video is that the resolution is so low as to make this feature more of a novelty item.

But the industry is so darned competitive now that it manufacturers may feel they NEED some "novelty" in order to capture any attention for their products....
