According to a report by NPD and covered today by AppleInsider, last month saw a twofold increase in Apple's share of domestic mice sales. By the end of November, Apple had captured 10 percent of the market."</em></p><p><img src="http://images.thoughtsmedia.com/resizer/thumbs/size/600/at/auto/1262219068.usr105634.jpg" style="border: 1px solid #d2d2bb;" /></p><p><em>Image Credit: SlashGear</em></p><p>However, that doesn't mean the author is a fan of the Magic Mouse. How do I know? This partial quote, describing his user experience, pretty much sums up his feelings:&nbsp;<em>"transforming my hand into a deformed claw of knotted knuckles and cramp." </em>Makes you want to go out and buy one doesn't it? I still have the Mighty Mouse, Bluetooth version, and haven't decided if I want to get this one. I still may, based on a few minutes in an Apple Store when I played around with it and it does everything I needed it to do. One thing is for certain, it certainly seems to be popular and you can't dispute that it does have a great form factor.&nbsp;</p>

Ok, when I first saw the post title, I thought, wow, so they've finally sold more than 9 of them? ;)

(I think that it's a cool mouse, but I just don't need a new mouse right now. I may get one later - maybe if they go on sale, or sell some as refurbs.)

I knew that title would get someone to read it! ;)

This is so misleading to me. I mean it's brand new, it only works for Macs, the Mighty Mouse that it replaces stunk BAD, and it's Christmas so everyone's got a chance to gift a replacement for their crappy mouse that is newer and cooler. Once last year's iMac buyers are satiated, it'll plummet. If they maintain 10+ percent of the aftermarket mouse market through June, I'll buy one and eat it...it does look easier to eat than to use as a mouse. :)

Yes, it was a great title. It certainly drew me into reading the entire post. :)

I can't understand all the negative comments about this product. I tried it at the Apple store and I took one home with me. I'm an average sized adult male and I don't experience any cramping at all. I like the idea that the entire surface is a scroll wheel and I especially like the momentum effect. I've never had a single problem with right clicking...at all. It seems to me that there are critics that get off ripping Apple products so that they won't be accused of being a fanboy or something.

For what it's worth, I'm 66 years old and trust me when I say that I don't give a rat's patoot what's cool and what's not. If it works as advertised, I'll give it a fair shot and this mouse works as advertised.

Also, it also works with Microsoft machines.
