What I miss with the HTC sense is the ability to include tasks on the main screen. And perhaps the launch buttons could be a little smaller and there would be some more space left to add some controls like backlight, speaker, wireless settings,...

Email view in 3D mode does not have UTF characters as it does not display mails correctly.

Disabling wireless data does not keep it disabled as interface wants to update information based on the update settings. I installed BsB tweaks to manage that.

And what I miss the most is task manager of some kind to display running programs and switch between them. Showcase application seams promising...


Otherwise I think it is a great interface.

One of the things I really miss in the (official) updated 6.5 ROM on my T-Mo Compact V (aka HTC TD2) is copy and paste in emails. That version of TouchFlo3D prevents access to the 'standard' keyboard with its <ctrl> <ctrl> "ctrl" key and the HTC keyboards in that version have no <ctrl><crtl> "ctrl" or "esc" <esc><esc> keys. There is also no menu option to allow text within emails to be selected and then copied or pasted. Did HTC put that back in this version, or am I blaming the wrong people here? (Surely, even Microsoft wouldn't remove a feature like copy and paste. Would they?). Also, do the new HTC keyboards have "ctrl" <ctrl> <ctrl> or "esc" <esc> <esc> keys?

Why would I need this? Well, I have to track a number of packages coming by several couriers across the Atlantic, and copying the tracking number from an email and pasting it into the courier tracking page on the browser was really very easy. Switching back and to between apps whilst I laboriously copy over 16+ digit tracking numbers is not fun at all. <esc> The "esc" <esc> key is also pretty useful if you use the remote desktop app..

Not a typo exactly, but the results of submitting without previewing :o

I had included 'ctrl' and 'esc' as in the edited post, but enclosed in 'less than' and 'greater than' symbols. Unfortunately, the forum software strips those from the messages before posting, and I didn't notice. Thanks for pointing it out - I hope it makes more sense now.

There is a way to copy and paste but it requires more screen taps. If you tap and hold on the screen you'll get a pop up menu. At the top there's an option "make selection" from there you can highlight then tap and hold again to do a copy then tap and hold again to to a paste. Still I wish there was a CTRL and ESC key on the HTC keyboard because that's a lot of steps just to copy and paste something.

Still I wish there was a CTRL and ESC key on the HTC keyboard because that's a lot of steps just to copy and paste something.Other than money, that's the ONLY thing that would keep me from going to the HD2, from the Touch Pro 2. HW keyboards make such a big difference! :D
