I've been looking for some good movies as of late but cant seem to find some solid opinions.

War movies based on WW1,WW2 and Vietnam tickle my fancy so any recommendations send my way.

Oh, and I like action

Well, I was going to say that "Schindler's List" is probably the best war movie ever, but you want action. It's not my particular favorite genre, but there's always:

Saving Private Ryan
Gallipoli (with a young Mel Gibson)
Braveheart (older Mel ;) )
The Big Red One
Platoon
Flags of Our Fathers (great)/Letters from Iwo Jima (greater!)
Bridge on the River Kwai

(These are off the top of my head. Search Netflix for War action films, maybe . . .)
