The fact that these stylepacks are only $19.95 is great - each one is packed with some great effects. I really liked the Chroma Wash and Oscillations effects from the first video - and Sum of the Parts is pretty slick as well! Tilt Matrix on the second video looks great as well.

I used ProShow Producer a couple of weeks ago on a quick project, and the end results were superb - though I'm still irked that I can't select all my images and apply the same slide style to each of them, all at once. Having to click on each image, click to apply the slide style, and then click OK on a dialogue box warning me that I'm changing the slide style is truly tedious when you have to do it 34 times in a row. Still, I've never seen a program so finely tuned for turning photos into video slide shows - it's a truly superb tool.

I was a long time user of ProShow Gold. I was disappointed to see that some of the styles in Style Pack 1 were only available in Producer, and further disappointed to see that the second and third style packs were only for Producer.

I used the Loyalty (http://www.photodex.com/purchase/loyalty)program to upgrade, and have not looked back. Love the product.

Anyone currently using the Gold should run out and upgrade, and purchase all three Style Packs.

I have been going back and re-doing some of my vacation shots, and love the results. Bonaire 2008 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TNu3jL0riBY) Vacation is an example. If you view, make sure you click the HD.

Yeah, it's basically because Producer supports alpha channel transparency, while Gold does not.

Cool video! One of the things I wished Gold and Producer were better at was outputs...they seem strangely fixated on MPEG2 and DVD burning instead of MPEG4/h.264.
