HTC Releases Windows Mobile 6.5 Software Updates for Touch Pro2 and Snap

This is the generic version, so you'll be losing any carrier-branded updates - but that might be a blessing in disguise...</p>

Currently these ROM Updates are only available for FIN and WWE devices. I have a European (EU) phone (purchased in Hungary), and I am unable to download either of the available updates. The web site cross checks the serial number of your device, which you have to enter, before allowing you to download to update. When I enter my serial number it says that the update is not suitable for my device '

Will get Excited about WM6.5 when they announce an Upgrade for the TouchPro (no "2" following....).

Means I should be able to maintain a CALM demeanor for quite a while....:rolleyes:

I, for one, will get excited when T-mobile does more than announce that they're "working on" getting WM 6.5 for the TP2. (yes, that's "working on" without anything even resembling a date. Or year, for that matter.)
