It was just last month that the most recent iPhone update hit the streets and already it's been superseded by the younger, faster, better-looking iPhone 3.1.2 that Apple released on Thursday. I have noticed that iTunes does not always automatically advise when there is an update when synchronising the iPhone. I have had to click the check for update button to find them - and this was the case with 3.1.2.

I have to say that having been a WM user for 9 years I love the ease of backing up, upgrading the iPhone etc - MS really could learn a lot from how Apple have implemented this feature!
