For $50.00 USD a year, and $7.00 USD per hour for basic usage (some cars more, some less), you can "zip" around in one of their cars. They also offer discount plans for frequent users. Both my daughter (and her parents) wish that she was going to a University with Zipcar - it would make things much easier. I didn't even know that they were at any colleges until we saw a couple of marked lots last weekend in Maine.
