You can also check out the <a href="http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3669" target="_blank">support page</a> that lists the currently compatible printers. This is one reason why I usually wait for a bit to install updates. I love all the new features but I sure hate it when things don't work.&nbsp;</p>

Actually, printing was improved for me with SL. In 10.5, my Canon Pixma iP4300 connected to a Airport Express did not use native drivers - you needed to use Gutenprint, which were slower than molasses, and you could not get ink status, etc. 10.6 still has the Gutenprint drivers, but the native 4300 driver works over the network, with ink status, etc.
