Little incompatibilities with existing apps are causing headaches and slowing down work flow."</em></p><p><em><img src="http://images.thoughtsmedia.com/resizer/thumbs/size/600/at/auto/1251897393.usr105634.jpg" /></em></p><p>As with any upgrade, there will be some problems to sort out. Major programs such as iTunes, Firefox, Photoshop and the like all seem to work fine, but users are experiencing problems with some of the smaller programs they have become accustomed to working with on a daily basis. Curious on just what isn't working well with Snow Leopard? Head on over to the <a href="http://snowleopard.wikidot.com/" target="_blank">compatibility wiki</a> and find out!&nbsp;</p>

So far, I have noticed only two things, and one is not on the Wiki. First, Plex is not yet filtering the remote from iTunes and Front Row, so you end up with all sorts of problems when you try to use the remote.

Worse, however, is that Front Row on my early 2007 MB is playing DVDs very badly. I'm definitely holding off on the upgrade on the Mac Mini media server that we use until that one is fixed.

Ah yes, TUAW has an article (http://www.tuaw.com/2009/09/01/front-row-performance-takes-a-dive-with-newest-kitty/) on problems with Front Row on Macs with GMA950 graphic subsystems :(
