Hello,

I want to buy a Dell netbook, and I saw a cheap one in shop, so I decided to buy it, but... I think that its a Mini 10, it name is DELL Inspiron 1011 Netbook. Okay... I see the specifications: Intel Atom N270, Intel GMA 500 VGA, 160Gb HDD, 1024 x 576 (WSVGA) resolution. Okay... thats confusing, because the N270 processor and the lower resolution is in the "v" version, but the GMA 500 VGA and the 160Gb hard drive is in the simple 10. So the name is 1011. What kind of a machine is that? Ples help me, i should buy a netbook till september. Thanks.

the biggest difference is that as the mini10 with HDMI port (no VGA port) and the opposite for Mini10v (VGA port no HDMI port)Processor for the Mini10 isn't the N270:
Mini 10v:
Intel® Atom<small>TM</small> N270 (1.6GHz/533Mhz FSB/512K L2Cache)

Mini 10:
Intel® Atom<small>TM</small> Z520 (1.33GHz/533MHz FSB/512K L2Cache)

or

Intel® Atom<small>TM</small> Z530 (1.60GHz/533MHz FSB/512K L2Cache)

The Dell Mini 10 uses the Intel GMA500. The Dell Mini 10v uses the Intel GMA950. So you have the Dell Mini 10.
