The release does the usual bug fixes and fine tuning, but also includes improvements to performance within Word and improved calculation speed in Excel. This update also will support Safari 4 for "accessing the browser-based services." If you were looking for the addition of Visual Basic for Applications, or rather the return of it, you will have to wait for the next release of Mac Office, which hasn't been announced. This is a free update and is about 300MB.
