I had insurance on my 1st generation iPhones with State Farm, but as soon as I put in a claim for one, they dumped me. I've only had the standard Apple Care since, and only for that first year. This coverage will take over where the Apple Care leaves off, covering theft or accidental damage. Nice to have if you have to replace one of these and would have had to pay the full price, even with the $100.00 US deductible. This coverage starts at $62.00/year US and is only available in the U.S. You can get global coverage for an extra cost however. More info can be found at the Safeware site.
