Granted, 2 years from the announcement is well beyond rushed out, but it sounds like they are taking into consideration input from the beta groups and tweaking the program to make it more user friendly. I just hope they come out with an app for the iPhone that will sync with the desktop, that would make this a must buy for me. How about you, what program Â*or programs do you use to keep track of your financial life?Â*

Rushed ? LOL It's continually delayed because they keep taking developers off the Mac team to work on the Windows version. It's vaporware plain and simple

Now that MS Money is going to be unsupported by Microsoft coming up soon, I'm eventually going to switch to Quicken on the PC. I'm still using Money right now, but I found that Quicken offers an online version (it's basically a really light version), but after signing up for Quicken Web (or whatever it's called) you can download an iPhone version of Quicken that allows you to make entries or see account details. Ideally, the iPhone software would sync with the desktop version, but in the meantime the web and current version work pretty well. :)

Ugh. Quicken 2007 really stinks, the other solutions are not much better (in fact, they are generally worse), and now we have to wait still longer? I'm willing to bet that this upgrade will be full of "features" that I'll never use, buggy as all get out, and not worth the upgrade.

And, since I spend 3 months of the year away from broadband, and because I tend to distrust web sites anyway for security, I have no interest in my money transactions sitting in the cloud without an encryption system for which only I have the key.
