Maybe if they were moist and chewy, like cakes, he'd like them more.

I'm thinking that if Seinfeld were still making his show he'd have lots of fun with Blackberry inattention - sort of like the soft talker, pirate shirt episode.

I turned push email off on my Windows Mobile specifically because I don't want to be like the people I know who feel the need to check their phone when they're in person talking to me. It really is kind of crazy how slavish as a society we've become to our technology - it rules us more than we rule it.

Yeah, I thought I was going to be angry, when I read the title, but when I saw the video, I realized that Jerry is spot on. The BlackBerry smartphone, which I also have, with it's all-knowing, all-seeing red-LED, controls me, as it controls all CrackBerry addicts. Actually, it is just that I am more interested in what's going on, outside of this office, than the world around me here, and the red LED is a "message in a bottle". Hmm.

As far as the BlackBerry drifting eye, you need to see the people in my office during a staff meeting. Red light goes on, eyes slowly drift down, ever so slowly, and the trackball is gently pressed, then caressed.

I'll do a haiku about it:

Oh, tiny red light
Life's more exciting, out there
Take me away, now.
