Security Update 2009-002 for Tiger is now available, both Intel and PPC. According to Apple, this update "...is recommended for all users and improves the security of Mac OS X. Previous security updates have been incorporated into this security update." It's nice to know what's being installed on your Mac, isn't it?"

This update surprised me, but I guess there are enough users out there to warrant a security upgrade for Tiger. So if you have the PPC version, head to the PPC site. But if you have the Intel version, bop on over to the Intel site for your update. The Intel update is a little over twice the size of the 75 MB PPC version, coming in at 165 MB. The download pages have a couple links to direct you for more information on exactly what the update does.
