WMWifiRouter 1.3 & xv6700 issues

I am trying to get wmwifirouter 1.3 to work on my verizon xv6700 (wm 5). It connects to my data network fine but when i check my wifi it doesnt give me a ip address and wont surf. Is there a setting i am missing. I didnt see anything on their site that would help me

I was trying out wmwifirouter on my hx4700, but it wouldn't even install. Then I discovered this: ICS Control v.21 - utility for controlling internet connection sharing - xda-developers (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=377047)

I think you need a wm6+ device though (and it wasn't easy to configure - but works really well once I figured it out :) ). :(

i was trying to use that first but it didnt work... keep asking for nat driver that i could never find so i am trying this other software now. Both software is suppose to support wm5

so i tried uninstalling wmwifirouter and installing it on my phone alone with the cab file and it still isnt working. is there some settings that needs to be set that its not telling us about

i notice it says it has to be " Windows Mobile 5 AKU 3.3 " .... what does this have in it that a regular wm5 dont???
