I think that's the key...call it a netbook and you can sell a low power computer and people will snap it up. This still has important ingredients like long battery life & I'm sure its very light!

I've never understood the reason for the designation. They're laptops for crying out loud. Just because there was a decent sized gap in pricing (and features) when the Eee was first brought to market doesn't change that.

Anyway, this is one that I actually could see owning. I just can't handle the smaller screens with my aging eyes.

There's a very good reason for the distinction...marketing ;) Also if you say Netbook then people know what kind of laptop you just got. My friends are all interested in mine. Its easier to explain something when it has a name. Otherwise I'd have to say I just got a small, light and inexpensive laptop for web browsing and light entertainment purposes. :)
