The iLife Support 9.0.1 update "improves overall stability, addresses a number of other minor issues and is recommended for all users of Aperture, iLife '09, and iWork '09." And there you have it.

It still has not fixed my biggest (well, the only one that I noticed) iPhoto issue - when I try to confirm faces on photos that were taken portrait (i.e., with the camera held sideways), iPhoto will show the picture in the incorrect orientation in the "confirm faces" selection. The names are pointing where they would be if the photo were displayed properly, but the photo has been rotated landscape. The big issue with this is when you want to add a face to a photo - you cannot put the box in the right place (unless the face is in the exact center of the photo, obviously).

Oddly enough I've had that very same issue, but only with one of my cameras (can't remember which one). Depending on the camera, the orientation doesn't matter.
