Aside from the recently revealed file sharing feature, we don't know of any other changes behind the scenes, but putting on a fresh coat of polish never hurts."</em></p><p><em><img src="http://images.thoughtsmedia.com/resizer/thumbs/size/600/at/auto/1235591654.usr105634.jpg" style="border: 1px solid #d2d2bb;" /></em></p><p>Shortly after this story was posted, there was service update <a href="http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3409" target="_blank">page</a> posted at Apple outlining what exactly was done to update <a href="http://www.apple.com/mobileme/" target="_blank">MobileMe</a>. &nbsp;Among them there were some nice changes to the calendar, such as retaining your last view settings, faster load times and faster switching between day/week/month views. The login page is snazzier too.</p>

I hardly use the web interface at all. My me.com mail address is not my main address, and I generally use Mail.app for all of my mail anyway, and I use iCal and Address Book for those functions. My daughter does use the web mail interface, though, and it is her main email address, so she should be pleased.

And so long as the calendar does not support reminders, I find that particular feature pretty limiting. It's just as easy to go to gCal and enter appointments there instead.
