Just find the shortest route between two artists and send the answer to ZContest on the official Zune forums. The first person to send the right answer each week wins the AV kit. It’s important to note that the path has to be between artists and not albums the artist has. This week the artists are Amy Winehouse to Ray Charles. Good luck! All of the official rules are over at Zune Insider.

It's just a matter of time before someone modifies the zillions of 10 Degrees of Kevin Bacon IMDB scripts to work with this social data, and then contest is done. All the MixView data is available to the web at large. A better contest would be to randomly draw from a group of people who found the path in under, say, 8 steps.

Neat idea, poor execution.
