When it comes to MacFixIt, they seem to report problems with *every* security and OS update. I've never had a problem with any of them.

That said, I usually wait a few days before I install to read all of the horror stories, though I did install this on the family iMac and my son's MacBook and both were just fine afterward.

I've updated all of mine and haven't experienced any problems
